We are currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. The right person will be a team player with energy, enthusiasm and a passion for cooking.  We try and promote from within and as we have 6 other restaurants in London there is plenty of opportunity for progression if you have the right HIXY attitude!

CNB Gallery is looking for a Events intern to work for 3 months. This is an amazing opportunity to become part of a vibrant team who thrive on new ideas, creativity and hard work in a new and developing area of the HIX business.

CNB Gallery holds a large number of events in the space and the exhibitions change every 6 weeks.

The role of the events intern would be to assist the gallery manager in organising and promoting art dinners and workshops.  Your role will be to support in every aspect of the event, from initial enquiries to ensuring the smooth running on the day.  It is a chance to learn about the contemporary art scene and to develop a wide range of skills.

The ideal intern will have:

- Excellent spoken and written English

- An eye for detail and a commitment to quality in all the work you do

- An interest in food

- Evidence of excellent communication skills and commitment to exceptional customer service

- A desire to learn and take an interest in all aspects of the business

- Social media savvy, ability to contribute business development ideas

- Excellent IT skills

- Word, Excel competent

- Degree in Art related subject

We are currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef to complete the brigade at this busy, 200 cover restaurant in Shoreditch.  If you have at least three years' experience as a Sous Chef in a high volume restaurant and good knowledge of British food we would like to hear from you. The right candidate will have enthusiasm, drive and a passion for cooking, thriving under pressure in this 200 cover restaurant which offers an excellent but relaxed approach to customers. You will assist the head chef in the smooth running and management of the kitchen so you must have excellent leadership skills.

Salary Circa £32,000 depending on experience
